Kristoff, I have added the URL of the puppies 4.2.0 download at the bottom of the news article (user is puppy and password is linux). The last version is v2.

Hi, I'm looking for a 4.2.1 version with firefox browser. Where can I find one if available?
Eddie R on November 17, 2009 (12:57AM)
loaded firefox as a pet package to the original 4.3.1
but it failed to load any firefox options.....
Just loaded this version of 4.3.1 and found it run's
firefox with no problems at all.
The inbuilt mail system also works OK....
Thanks for all the effort....

Have been trying to download Puppies-xserver.iso with PWget, under Puppy 4.2.1, but can't figure out a way.
Strange, since "use PWget" was the advice given to the user who complained of the lack of an md5sum for the file.
Is there a way to do this, or do I have to use Seamonkey?
I'd also like to know of a way to transfer my online passwords from Seamonkey to Firefox, Opera, or KeePass-X.
My reply:
In console, wget works like
wget -c --user puppy --password linux URL
Example URL is
http://www.puppylinux.asia/tpp/ttuuxxx/puppies430/puppies-431.1-main-Xserver.iso
(The use of username=puppy and password=linux is only for repositories puppylinux.ca, puppylinux.asia and puppyisos.org)
Sorry, Otropogo, I can't help with your last question.

The version with the old X-server works great from the CD but if I make a USB version the networking does not work.
Any ideas.

ttuuxxx does not post md5sum, but you can ensure correct download by using wget, ftp or Opera.

Thanks.
My wife's elementary school deployed these powerful but misconfigured Windows PCs, and all of the teachers complain they won't work - especially with the licensed educational videos installed on their internet cache.
This version of Puppy just smacked away all the problems, and her classroom projected videos run as never before. Her jaw dropped.
Thanks again!
