Hi

firstly I wanted to express my congratulations to sc0ttman, I think that puppy arcade is really a gret distro.

Secondly I wanted to ask you.
Is it possible to compile your program that downloads the bios emulators?
I think it would be great to be able to install it on every system, instead of having a dualboot for such a comfortable program

greetings

I love Sam & Max. On that basis I will give this build a try. Thanks.

Thanks!

I've managed to got Vice working, and will make it available very soon on the forum, it's literally 20 times bigger than Frodo (500k and 10mb respectively) than has higher system requirements..

I'll make Vice available anyway, but may or may not include it as default in the next version.

In answer to an earlier post about system requirements, like all puppies, this will work well on old PCs - Pentium 2s, AMD K6s and so on, although each emulated system has it's own recommmended system requirements.

Hi,

you should replace Frodo with Vice; it's much better :-)

matrobriva on December 31, 2009 (2:05PM)

What are the minimum requirements?

(Answered by the second post below.)

Wonderfulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll! I'm lovin'it!

Can be included even Vice emulator in next version for Commodore machine?
Frodo is fast in emulation, but it cannot run many demos of Commodore 64, and music reproduction is quite primitive.

Vice else support lot of Commodore machine, like C128, Vic 20, Plus 4.

Thanks

O-M-G! This is exactly what I need.
I'm building an arcade machine with a 400MHz computer and this is the Holy Grail to me :D

Thank you, for the love of everything holy!
I'm looking forward to V5 :)
